Our employees are powering communities.
Exelon’s community program helps employees find company-sponsored volunteer events. Getting involved is easy and makes for great team building. There are a variety of volunteer activities for all personal interests and time commitments. We encourage employees to report all their volunteer hours, so we can support their effort with ours.
Exelon employee volunteers can earn “Dollars for Doers.”
Employees can request Exelon Foundation Dollars for Doers rewards for non-profits. When our people volunteer their time and let us know about it, they can earn donations from Exelon for their favorite nonprofits. In 2023, Exelon awarded over $500,000 in Dollars for Doers grants.
We participate in National Volunteer Month every year.
National Volunteer Month empowers employee volunteers to design their own service projects and recruit colleagues to participate. In 2023, more than 7,000 employees volunteered more than 135,000 hours.
Every year, we celebrate our most committed volunteers.
The Exelon Foundation Employee Volunteer Awards program recognizes employees who have shown exemplary service and who have served more than 35 hours in one calendar year. The program grants $5,000 to the nonprofit organizations the employees support.
