We strengthen our communities with significant corporate philanthropy. We also support employees’ volunteer work for causes they care about. Volunteerism offers a kind of purpose and reward you can’t get any other way, benefits our customers and communities, and makes for more invested and engaged employees.

Our employees are powering communities.
Exelon’s community program helps employees find company-sponsored volunteer events. Getting involved is easy and makes for great team building. There are a variety of volunteer activities for all personal interests and time commitments. We encourage employees to report all their volunteer hours, so we can support their effort with ours.
Exelon employee volunteers can earn “Dollars for Doers.”
Employees can request Exelon Dollars for Doers grants for non-profits. When our people volunteer their time and let us know about it, they can earn donations from Exelon for their favorite nonprofits. In 2021, Exelon awarded $688,900 in Dollars for Doers grants.
We participate in National Volunteer Month every year.
National Volunteer Month empowers employee volunteers to design their own service projects and recruit colleagues to participate. In 2021, more than 6,279 employees volunteered more than 177,765 hours.
Every year, we celebrate our most committed volunteers.
The Exelon Employee Volunteer Awards recognize employees who have shown exemplary service and who have served more than 50 hours in one calendar year. The program awards grants of $5,000 to $20,000 to the nonprofit organizations the employees support.
