At Exelon, we are committed to doing what’s right. Exelon serves more than 10.7 million customers across six local utilities – Atlantic City Electric, BGE, ComEd, Delmarva Power, PECO and Pepco. We have a deep connection to the communities we serve, which is why we actively look for ways to engage and give back.
April is National Volunteer Month and many Exelon employees are using this time to come together and make a positive impact in the communities we serve. In 2024 alone, over 8,000 Exelon employees recorded more than 154,000 volunteer hours with local organizations and donated over $9.6 million dollars in funds to different organizations throughout our service territories—this includes the month of April and beyond.
At Exelon, we believe in recognizing some of our most committed volunteers. That’s because we know that it’s not just about the energy we deliver – it’s about the positive energy we share. The Exelon Foundation Employee Volunteer Awards honor those who logged at least 30 volunteer hours in a calendar year. Award winners receive $5,000 toward eligible nonprofit organizations. This year, 20 outstanding employee volunteers ensured that grants totaling $100,000 were awarded to nonprofits.
Below are the Exelon Foundation Employee Volunteer Award winners across the Exelon footprint who have given back.
