Pitts-Madonna serves as Exelon’s senior vice president and Chief Human Resources Officer. Exelon is a Fortune 200 company and one of the nation’s largest energy delivery companies, serving customers through six fully regulated transmission and distribution utilities. Pitts-Madonna is responsible for shaping and executing Exelon’s people strategy in alignment with the company’s long-term strategy. She oversees the human resources organization, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and Management, Health and Benefits, Compensation, Employee and Labor Relations, Human Resources Operations and Technology. She serves on the Exelon Executive Committee, which sets strategy and direction for the company.
Professional History
Prior to serving as Exelon’s SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer, Pitts-Madonna spent 25 years at Northrop Grumman Corporation, most recently as vice president of Talent where she oversaw talent acquisition, talent development, talent management, change management, and organizational effectiveness. She also served as a member of the Northrop Grumman Human Resources (HR) Executive Leadership Team.
Prior to that role, Pitts-Madonna held several positions at Northrop Grumman including vice president of HR for the company’s Space Systems sector, Vice President of HR for the Innovation Systems sector and vice president of HR for the Enterprise-wide Employee Relations Center of Excellence. She is a results-driven leader who successfully integrated large-scale acquisitions and businesses, led cultural transformations, and developed talent strategies that fueled business performance, growth and culture.
Civic & Board Involvement
She serves as Chair of the Penn-Mar Foundation Board, an organization dedicated to empowering people with intellectual disabilities in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Education
Pitts-Madonna earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, and a master’s degree in social work from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
