Celebrating 25 Years of Powering a Cleaner, Brighter Future

This October, Exelon marked a major milestone – 25 years of powering progress, innovation, and community impact. To celebrate, a group of Exelon executives and employees from Exelon’s six local electric and gas utilities – Atlantic City Electric, BGE, ComEd, Delmarva Power, PECO, and Pepco, gathered at the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square right in the heart of New York City to ring the opening bell. The bell ringing symbolized a quarter-century of leadership in the energy industry and a future full of promise.

The moment was more than ceremonial, it was a reflection of the people, purpose and progress that’s defined Exelon since its founding in 1999. From delivering safe, reliable and affordable energy to more than 10.7 million customers, to investing in the communities we serve, Exelon has remained committed to creating a more sustainable and equitable energy future.
