5 Ways to Get Involved for Energy Efficiency Day
Discover these simple steps to take on Energy Efficiency Day that could help you save money throughout the year.
Energy Efficiency Day started in 2016, with a mission of saving money, cutting pollution and creating jobs. The annual awareness event brings together non-profit organizations, businesses and government agencies to share ways to lower costs and generate healthier outcomes through our energy consumption. It is also a chance for companies and people from around the country to build greater understanding and awareness around their energy usage, and explore ways to save.
At Exelon, we remain committed to offering our customers and communities opportunities to meet their energy needs, while also working to reduce their bills. In 2023, Exelon’s electric rates came in at 17% below the largest U.S. metro cities. In 2022 and 2023, we helped connect more than one million eligible customers to more than $1 billion in energy assistance.
While Exelon is privileged to offer our customers and communities access to energy savings, there are even more ways that we can all take advantage of energy-efficiency tools and resources.
Below are five ways to participate in Energy Efficiency Day:

Energy assessments can help you learn how to reduce utility costs at home or your place of business. They can also help ensure your appliances are running efficiently.
