Welcome to PECO's New Business Services web site. We value your business and want to ensure that there is no confusion about the department's future name change to Exelon New Business Services. PECO's Contractor and Builder Services department has been in place for 10 years, and the department is not changing. The name is changing to be consistent with the other Exelon departments that handle New Business and Customer requests. The existing phone numbers, faxes, and building locations are not changing. More important, the contacts you have developed during the last decade at PECO will remain the same.

Here's What Our New Business Services Have to Offer You
Personalized Service
PECO, an Exelon Company, has a New Business Services organization in its service territory to provide you personalized service for your energy needs.
With a phone call, you can be in touch with a Contractor Liaison or a Design and Construction Consultant. One of these two employees will be your single point of contact for the design and installation of your electric or gas service projects and for scheduling PECO resources.
How It Works
- First, call New Business Services or Underground Residential Design Team (URD),to get access to the service you want. Your call will be directed to a Contractor Liaison. For jobs that do not require design or field work, the Contractor Liaison will begin processing your request immediately. The Contractor Liaison will give each job a unique service request number for tracking purposes.
- Then, submit a completed Application For Service and Meter Form . To get a copy of the form, call one of the three main offices to have an application faxed to you, or click here for the Service Information Resource page.
- If your job requires design, coordination, construction and installation, you will be linked with a Design and Construction Consultant (DCC), who will manage your job from start to finish.
- Your project will be entered into PECO's work management system and scheduled.
Keeping In Touch
Accessible by telephone, pager, cellular phone and in-person, your Design and Construction Consultant will be available when you have a question, problem, or concern that needs to be addressed. You also can expect your consultant to stop by your job or give you a call to see how your project is progressing. PECO Design and Construction Consultants are committed to providing excellent service to you, our customer.
Underground Residential Design Team (URD) The Underground Residential Design Team (formerly known as the New Residential Design Group [NRCG]) is a specialized team dedicated to providing developers and builders with personalized service for underground electric and gas installations for new homes in the PECO service area. The Contractor Liaisons are readily available to answer any questions you may have about your project (see page 4 for contact information).
