Budget Bill Plan

If your electric usage varies widely from month to month or from season to season, then consider our Budget Bill Plan.  Our Budget Bill Plan will help you spread your ComEd electric service costs evenly throughout the year. 

Here's how Budget Billing works...

• You pay a pre-arranged amount each month based on your energy use during the prior 12 month budget cycle. 
• Your monthly Budget Bill payment will be adjusted every six months to keep the payment in line with your actual energy usage.
• Your budget plan will begin with your next bill.  In order to go on the budget plan your account must be paid up to date.  Continued participation requires that payments be made on or before the due date each month.

• Register or login to the  ComEd Online Convenience Center.
• Or Fill out the Budget Billing form.
• Or, call us at 1-800-Edison-1 (1-800-334-7661).

Would you like to sign up for Automatic Payment too?
Why worry about late payments and charges?  After you enroll in the Budget Billing Plan, enroll for  Automatic Payment  and have your Budget Bill payment automatically transferred from your checking account on the ComEd bill due date.
