When you get that interview, your appearance will tell your prospective employer as much as, or more than, your conversation will. Conservative is the way to go. You want to keep the focus on your qualifications for the job, and any distractions will diminish the amount of time you have to make your point. Make it count -- you only have a little while to sell yourself!
