Corporate Planning: Assist senior management in developing long-term corporate strategy, maintaining corporate forecasts and providing ongoing analysis of corporate and business unit performance.
Project Evaluations: Assist senior management in analyzing and prioritizing investment opportunities for the corporation and business units, including risk and return assessment, allocation of capital and management of the investment portfolio.
Power Marketing: MBA graduates and interns help Exelon's Power Team succeed in the wholesale commodity trading environment in a variety of ways. MBAs buy and sell power, natural gas, oils, coal, and environmental commodities on the Trade Floor. Challenges include structuring and valuing complex physical and financial energy contracts and opportunities. They analyze and solve new financial derivative problems through quantitative skill and software prototyping.
Mergers & Acquisitions: Target and analyze potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A), conduct due diligence, and develop negotiating strategies as part of an M&A team.
Corporate Finance: Manage financing projects and relationships with investment bankers and rating agencies, manage cash transactions and evaluate investments, including 401(k) and pension funds.
