Quad Cities Station employees hosted STEM students and teachers from Pleasant Valley High School (Bettendorf, IA) at the site Thursday, Nov. 29. The students were given a Nuclear 101 presentation, toured the Control Room Simulator, were provided a virtual reality demonstration and held a panel discussion with three recently hired degreed engineers. Following the field trip, teacher Mary Johnson had this to say to station Advocacy Champion Bill Stoermer: "Thank you for the tour! It was truly a worthwhile trip... After the event several of the students asked if they could come again. They mentioned that it was one of the most worthwhile tours they've taken."
