Quad Cities Station personnel and their friends and families helped make local history on Saturday, June 9, by participating in the first ever Quad Cities Unity Pride Parade.
The parade closed out a week-long series of events celebrating LGBTQ Pride Month in the Quad Cities. Quad Cities served as a primary sponsor of Unity Pride Week. The station's parade float was one of more than 25 entries. The parade started in downtown Davenport, Iowa and ended in downtown Rock Island, Illinois, making it bi-state.
