Nine Mile Point Hosts College Students

Last week Nine Mile Point hosted two groups of college students for site tours and presentations on nuclear power. The first tour was a group of graduate level students from Syracuse University's Maxwell School.

The second group had students from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry's "Sustainable Energy Club."  This tour was coordinated and supported by members of Nine Mile Point’s chapter of North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NAYGN).

We received very positive feedback from all of the students who indicated that they found it very informative and the fact that safety is our top priority was very clear to them.
