POTTSTOWN, PA (June 3, 2016) — Operators at Limerick Generating Station returned Unit 2 to full power today, ending a brief maintenance outage that began on Wednesday, June 1, at 9:00 a.m.
Before returning the unit to service, technicians repaired and tested an electrical component that impacted the unit's recirculating water pumps. Unit 1 remained at full power throughout the Unit 2 outage.
Limerick Generating Station is located in Montgomery County approximately 21 miles northwest of Philadelphia. The plant produces enough carbon-free electricity to power two million homes. Join us on
