LaSalle Station Supports Illinois Valley PADS

Exelon's LaSalle County Generating Station recently donated $5,000 from its charity golf outing proceeds to the Illinois Valley Public Action to Deliver Shelter (IV PADS). The Illinois Valley PADS exists to provide shelter, food and services to people in need.

"This agency is the work of a great community," said IV PADS Executive Director Carol Alcorn.  People share the expression of faith and caring that sustains IV PADS and helps to dispel the desperation of hopelessness."

During the warmer months, organizations like these tend to see a decline in charitable contributions. Funds donated will be used to purchase food and upgrade appliances used daily to serve meals to countless daily visitors.
