During this year's Employee Giving Campaign, station employees got very creative with their fundraising efforts. Each workgroup and some of the station's Employee Resources Groups developed a themed basket or gift to be raffled off using their own money or external resources. More than 25 items lined the EGC raffle tables in the cafeteria.
A total of $10,342 was raised. The check was presented today on behalf of the FitzPatrick team to representatives of the United Way of Greater Oswego County.
"It takes special individuals coming together to make a community stronger," said United Way Executive Director Patrick Dewine. "On behalf of our Board of Directors, I extend my heartfelt thanks, appreciation, and admiration to you for creating a brighter future for individuals of all ages in every corner of Oswego County and across Central New York."
