Amanda Pellettiere, Jessica Gryskewicz, Alex Farrell, Kaitlin Gardiner and Tuane Young (pictured above with Delegate Mark Fisher) attended the 2018 MD Post Legislative breakfast hosted by the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce. They heard a first-hand account of the 2018 legislative session decisions from Senators Mike Miller and Steve Waugh and Delegates Michael Jackson and Mark Fisher during the event.
Discussions included several personal and small business-related tax revisions, Engineering Program Degrees coming to Southern MD Higher Education Program, and the opportunity for support of Nuclear in Calvert County.
All members of the panel were openly supportive of Nuclear Energy with Mike Miller calling Calvert Cliffs a "Godsend for the Community" noting the remarkable improvements to the school system and job opportunities.
