Braidwood Station is hosting an evening of family fun, free food and fission from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 12 with its annual Community Open House open to the public. Neighbors and community members are invited to the Training Building to learn how we generate clean, reliable energy for the region, and why our plant is vital to Illinois’ long-term future.
Informational booths on a variety of nuclear power topics will included at the event. Everyone is encouraged to attend, invite their families and friends and to post on social media to make this a fantastic night. Free food will be provided by Jones-Eez Bar-B-Que!
The Open House allows Exelon to thank the community and demonstrate the value of Braidwood Station as well as introducing the dedicated workers who operate it at world class levels of excellence.
If you have questions about the event, please contact Braidwood Station Communications Manager Brett Nauman.
