Compensation

Exelon’s total compensation program is one of the most highly competitive nationwide in rewarding performance and supporting employees. Our total compensation package reflects our values and offers accountability and flexibility. It provides:

  • A strong foundation of competitive base pay
  • An opportunity for employees to share in Exelon's, the operating company's and their own success through the Annual Incentive Program (AIP)

Benefits at a Glance

Exelon employees have access to the industry's most competitive benefit packages. Designed to offer choice and flexibility, the program allows you to customize a benefits package that is just right for you.

Health

To provide flexibility, Exelon offers a variety of choices, including Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs), Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) and Health Alliance (certain locations only). The company offers a dental PPO and a dental maintenance organization (DMO) that emphasize preventive care. The Vision and Hearing Care Plan can help you pay for vision and hearing exams and basic expenses.

Life Insurance & Disability Coverage

Exelon provides life insurance coverage and accidental death and dismemberment. You may also have the option to purchase supplemental insurance coverage for you, your spouse and/or your children. Short-term and long-term disability coverage help protect your income if you are unable to work.

Retirement

Exelon's Employee Savings Plan (ESP) is a 401(k) plan that enables you to save for your future and reduce your taxable income today. The company will match your contributions each pay period. You are also eligible to participate in a pension plan – Exelon provides the pension benefit at no cost to you.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan

The Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) enables eligible employees to share in the value we create as a business by providing an opportunity to purchase Exelon common stock at a discount from the market price.
