Adam FrainMeeting engineering challenges
The pursuit of excellence has been the hallmark of Adam Frain’s engineering career. After receiving his engineering degree from Johns Hopkins University, Frain went to work for Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, one of the nation’s leading nuclear research and development laboratories. Later, Frain joined the engineering team at Exelon’s Peach Bottom nuclear power plant. As a Senior Reactor Operator, he supervises equipment operators to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of the reactor and all supporting systems, in accordance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) operating licenses.
"I really enjoy working through each day's evolutions and tests. From an engineering perspective, every day is different, and that challenges me to grow in new ways."
It’s an important job and one that Frain does not take lightly. He notes, "the Operations Department is challenging and fast-paced. It requires dedication and hard work to succeed.”
