To help educate and raise awareness about energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies ComEd partners with the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation (ICECF) and the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) to install small solar arrays and curriculum enhancements at public schools throughout the ComEd service Territory.
Teachers and Educators in the ComEd service area can order free materials to help educate students about energy efficiency, renewables, and the environment by visiting ComEd's Energy Efficiency World.
ComEd works with the National Energy Education Development Project (NEED) to educate teachers, students, families, and the general public about energy consumption, efficiency and conservation and provides tools to help educators, energy managers, and consumers use energy wisely.
