 Exelon Announces Executive Changes 

 Exelon Corporation today announced several management changes at the corporate level and within its operating companies, including the retirement of Ian P. McLean, executive vice president of Exelon and CEO of Exelon Transmission Company. 

 

Chicago – Exelon Corporation today announced several management changes at the corporate level and within its operating companies, including the retirement of Ian P. McLean, executive vice president of Exelon and CEO of Exelon Transmission Company, as of July 15, 2010. Prior to his current position, McLean served as executive vice president, finance and markets, and president of Exelon Power Team.

Exelon Chairman and CEO John W. Rowe said, “Ian leaves us a stronger organization for his having been here. He has performed admirably in a variety of strategic leadership roles in his more than 11 years with Exelon. Notably, he was instrumental in developing our power marketing function and our robust hedging program, as well as in establishing the Exelon Transmission Company.”

In addition, the following management changes were announced, effective July 5, 2010:

  • Darryl M. Bradford has been named senior vice president and general counsel for Exelon Corporation. Bradford previously served in key leadership roles within Exelon subsidiary ComEd, including senior vice president, regulatory and energy policy, and general counsel.
  • Thomas S. O’Neill has been named senior vice president, regulatory and energy policy, and general counsel for ComEd, replacing Bradford. O’Neill was most recently senior vice president of Exelon, and chief operating officer for Exelon Transmission Company. Prior to that, O’Neill served in a variety of leadership positions within Exelon Nuclear, including senior vice president, project development.
  • Ronald J. DeGregorio has been named senior vice president and chief operating officer for Exelon Transmission Company, replacing O’Neill. DeGregorio was previously senior vice president, operations support, for Exelon Nuclear.
  • Christopher H. Mudrick has been named senior vice president, operations support, for Exelon Nuclear, replacing DeGregorio. Mudrick previously was vice president, operations, within the same business unit.
