Pottstown, PA (April 8, 2009) - Community Health & Dental Care (CHDC) is pleased to announce that Exelon Nuclear has joined our family of community sponsors as a member of CHDC's Founder's Campaign with a $25,000 contribution. As a member of the Founder's Campaign, Exelon Nuclear will have naming rights to an office or piece of equipment and CHDC will place an Exelon Nuclear "Star" in the lobby of the health center alongside other founders.
"This donation is more than just naming rights and a star," explained CHDC's Vice President, Mary Ann Dailey, PhD, RN. "Exelon's generous contribution will be used for the purchase of a Panorex machine in the dental wing of CHDC, which will allow staff to do full-mouth x-rays and provide other important services to our patients."
Sponsors of CHDC's Founders Campaign have made a gift of $7,000 or more to help underwrite medical and dental care to people of the tri-county area. The campaign, started this past winter, welcomes anyone interested in supporting the initiative to see that people of the tri-county area have access to affordable medical and dental care whether or not they have insurance.
"The Pottstown area is lucky to have a resource like Community Health and Dental Care," said Limerick Generating Station site vice president, Chris Mudrick, "and we are proud to support an organization that cares for our community."
New patients are welcome at CHDC. To make a medical appointment, phone 610-326-9460. Dental appointments, please phone 610-326-7405. For more information on how you can become involved with the Founder's Campaign visit www.ch-dc.org.
