Oyster Creek Donates AEDs to Local Emergency Responders

Lacey Township officials and emergency responders thanked Oyster Creek for making the job of saving lives a little bit easier with the donation of six Automated External Defibrillators.

Earlier this year, the station's AEDs were changed out with different models. At a public meeting of the Township Committee last night, Plant Manager Mike Gillin presented the ones no longer in use at the station to the township.

Township Mayor Pete Curatolo said the partnership between the town and the station often enable the municipality to obtain equipment, like the additional AEDs, that would otherwise be cost-prohibitive.
