FitzPatrick Employees Recognize the Importance of Giving Back

The employees of FitzPatrick have always demonstrated their commitment to community whether it be through monetary donations or volunteering for local nonprofit organizations.  They recognize the impact their time and contributions have on those less fortunate and how their efforts help our community grow and thrive.

In 2017, FitzPatrick’s annual Employee giving Campaign yielded $102,000 in employee pledges to local nonprofit agencies that work tirelessly to provide services to those in need. The Exelon Foundation will match every dollar with a $0.50 gift to our local United Way Agency.

During the 2017 campaign period, employees also held several fundraisers that raised $5,900 that will be provided to the United Way of Greater Oswego County. “Our employees continuously look for ways to support our community and to thank them for their support of the FitzPatrick Plant, our dedicated employees, and nuclear power,” said FitzPatrick Plant Manager Tim Peter. “The United Way provides so many valuable resources throughout Oswego County and we are proud to continue our support of their efforts.”
