Dresden Employee Giving Donates $15,000 To Local Charities

Congratulations to all Dresden Station employees who recently helped the station's Employee Giving Campaign (EGC) donate a combined $15,000 to two worthy charities.

Grundy Three Rivers Habitat For Humanity and  Guardian Angel Services each received a $7,500 check last week during check presentation events. Both organizations stated it was the biggest cash donation they had received in a long time, and one of the organization's leaders (not knowing the size of the donation ahead of time) had tears in her eyes as she accepted the check.

Dresden's EGC received the fleet award for most money raised during fundraisers ($24,000+) and that's a testament to our commitment to giving back to our communities.

Thank you to everyone who supported the campaign through donations or participation in raffles/fundraisers. You make Dresden the BEST nuclear power plant in the world!
