On her off days, Braidwood Security Officer Cindy Stua rubs elbows with some of Chicago's biggest names.
Names like Rizzo, Bryant, Lester, Contreras, Maddon and Ricketts. That last name is important. Tom Ricketts, owner of the Chicago Cubs, not only signs the paychecks for her part-time job, he's the reason she has new jewelry.
You see, Stua works part-time on the Chicago Cubs security staff during her off days from the Braidwood plant. She's one of the 1,908 people to receive a World Series championship ring from the Cubs' 2016 run to Major League Baseball's title. It was the Cubs' first championship since 1908.
