Exelon Nuclear’s Limerick Generating Station Unit 1 resumed producing electricity today following a scheduled maintenance outage after successfully replacing a valve on the plant’s steam piping system.

Exelon Clinton Power Station Operators placed the unit in service on Friday, Dec. 23 ending the station’s 13th scheduled refueling outage. Exelon has prepared the unit for another safe and reliable two-year run with this outage.
