Three Mile Island Supports Greater Middletown Economic Development Corp.
Three Mile Island Generating Station today continued its strong support
Londonderry Township, Pennsylvania – Three Mile Island Generating Station today continued its strong support for the economic well being of the Middletown area by contributing $5000 to the Greater Middletown Economic Development Corporation. Three Mile Island has contributed approximately $40,000 to the organization since it was first formed in 2003.
“Three Mile Island has been with us from the beginning,” said Stefan Klosowski, Executive Director of the Greater Middletown Economic Development Corporation. “This donation will be used to help develop new business as part of our Main Street program.”
“Three Mile Island is a charter member of the Greater Middletown Economic Development Corporation,” said Bill Noll, TMI Site Vice President. “We strongly believe in a regional approach to economic growth and in the idea that a strong local economy will benefit everyone who lives in the Middletown area.”
The Greater Middletown Economic Development Corporation is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to the improvement and promotion of enterprise and community in the greater Middletown area, encompassing Highspire, Londonderry Township, Lower Swatara Township, Middletown and Royalton.
