POTTSTOWN, PA - Limerick Generating Station invites our neighbors to Community Information Night on Thursday, May 6, at The Loft at Limerick Golf Club. The event is an open house where neighbors can speak one-on-one with Limerick employees about what they do at the plant and learn more about the plant's operations.
The event is open to the public and will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Loft at Limerick Golf Club, located at 765 North Lewis Road, Limerick, Pa. 19468.
Limerick technical and safety experts will be on hand to provide information on plant operations, safety, security, maintenance programs and community involvement. This is an opportunity to talk with Limerick's engineers, operators, chemists and environmental scientists.
"Our employees are committed to the community and community information night is a great event to reach out and educate our neighbors about the inner-workings of the plant and be available to answer their questions," said Chris Mudrick, Limerick site vice president. "Our goal is for our neighbors to have an enjoyable evening and walk away better informed about the nuclear energy plant in their neighborhood."
