U.S. Green Building Council’s Highest Environmental Rating 2007:
Presented Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED(R)) Platinum Commercial Interiors (CI) certification to Exelon for its new headquarters. Exelon's new green headquarters is the largest office space in the world to be LEED-CI certified at the platinum level. In its new green headquarters, Exelon has reduced electricity consumption by more than 43 percent and water consumption by 30 percent as compared to its previous space and has created a healthy and more productive work environment for its employees. Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index 2006/2007 and 2007/2008:
Index represents the top 20 percent of companies in each sector, from the largest 600 North American companies, that rank the highest in terms of sustainability - economic, social, and environmental performance - based on an extensive evaluation of their performance on more than 100 parameters. Exelon's biodiversity activities, for example, earned a perfect score. Exelon also received high scores in climate strategy, talent attraction and retention, and corporate citizenship/philanthropy. Carbon Disclosure Project Climate Disclosure Leadership Index 2005, 2006 and 2007:
Index is comprised of 68 of the Financial Times 500 companies that have shown distinction in their responses to the Carbon Disclosure Project survey. The survey includes questions regarding the: physical risks related to increasing weather severity; regulatory risks resulting from more stringent regulations designed to address greenhouse gas emissions; competitive risks generated by potentially reduced demand for energy and energy intensive products; and reputational risks from perceived “inaction” on climate change. A company’s rating is based on their reporting of greenhouse gas emissions, and an assessment of the company’s climate change strategies. The North Exelon Pavilions in Millennium Park have received the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for their energy efficient features and sustainable design. The North Pavilions on Randolph Street house the Millennium Park Welcome Center, Exelon sponsored energy exhibits and the Chicago Shop at Millennium Park. Exelon and its subsidiary ComEd provided funding of $5.5 million for the Pavilions. The solar-powered buildings are a result of Exelon’s joint efforts with the city of Chicago to support sustainable design and renewable energy while furthering educational and social awareness of “green” architecture in Chicago. National Brownfields Conference Phoenix Award 2005:

General Electric’s Most Efficient Boiling Water Reactors In the World 2004:
General Electric presents awards annually to the 23 most efficient boiling water reactors out of 89 in operation worldwide as measured by year-end gross capacity factor. The 23 reactors represent the top 25 percent. Capacity factor refers to the amount of electricity actually produced by a power plant compared to what it could theoretically produce running at full power 100 percent of the time. It is a key measure of plant reliability and overall industry performance. For the fourth consecutive year, two generating units at our Limerick Generating Station have received the General Electric awards, (Exelon Nuclear)

- Limerick Unit 1 ranked first in the nation and third in the world, with a 96.48 percent capacity factor.
- LaSalle Unit 1 ranked third in the nation and twelfth in the world, with a 92.25 percent capacity factor.

- Limerick Unit 2 ranked first in the nation and fourth in the world, with a 100.78 percent capacity factor.
