The production of electricity and distribution of natural gas is dependent upon access to natural resources – coal, oil, natural gas, water, wind, the sun – and the land upon which the energy infrastructure rests. The more efficiently we can use these resources, the lower the cost to produce and deliver our energy products will be. Working with the Wildlife Habitat Council, we have begun to establish plans to identify rare, threatened and endangered species and sensitive habitats around our facilities in order to preserve these valuable natural resources.
