Energize your career at Exelon!<br><br>PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION<br><br>Directs and is responsible for optimizing the practices, policies, procedures and programs to operate the electric distribution system in a safe, reliable and efficient manner with the welfare of employees, customers, the public and shareholders in mind.
<br><br>Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises Area Operators, OESs or Distribution Testing employees.
Implements Company and departmental policies, initiatives, procedures & guidelines in order to satisfy corporate, business unit, municipal and regulatory requirements.
<br><br>Maintain and apply a working knowledge of the Exelon Management Model for business controls and meet managements expectation for conducting effective business.
<br><br>Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES<br><br>Accountability<br><br>- Plan, coordinate, and direct craft employees engaged in the execution of scheduled and emergent work activities, to assure the highest levels of customer services and maintenance crew utilization to achieve Exelons safety, reliability and performance goals.
<br><br>- Promote and maintain an environment that fosters a high performance culture and a learning organization.
Serves as a change agent for business initiatives and assures the human element is understood and considered.
Provides timely recognition of employee contributions.
Provide coaching, training, and evaluate employee performance.

Develop methods to assess communication effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Establish, maintain and improve relationships with other departments in Exelon.
<br><br>- Manage Union/management relationships and engage local union stewards to effectively facilitate the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Work within departmental budgets.
Plan resource coverage and execute work activities directed at achievement of business plans and business unit objectives.

<br><br>POSITION SPECIFICATIONS<br><br>Minimum: <br><br>-5- 8 years internal utility company experience (e.
, PHI, ComEd, PECO), or equivalent external experience<br><br>-4 or more years internal supervisory experience (e.
, PHI, ComEd PECO, BSC, ExGen), or receive acceptable rating on Supervisory Assessment<br><br>- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills in a high performance culture.
<br><br>- This position requires 24-hour on-call responsibility and varied work schedules as required by business needs.
