We provide financial, human resource, legal, information technology, supply management, communications, and corporate governance services. <br></p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><strong>Energize your career at Exelon!</strong></p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><strong></strong> </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>Support the development and implementation of energy market rules, transmission system rules and other federal regulatory policies so as to maximize financial value for Exelon Corporation primarily through advocacy at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.   Identify key regulatory developments (e. g. , market rules and/or regulations that may impact energy and capacity prices in wholesale power markets, opportunities to ensure reasonable compensation and operating policies for low emission generation, policies affecting transmission asset investment and operations, etc. ), work with others in the company to develop Exelon�s position on any such developments and take proactive steps to advance Exelon�s position through written and oral advocacy at FERC and in other related settings.   Management of other environmental and energy rulemakings related to the Department of Energy, CFTC and other federal agencies may also be supported. <br> <br>Support the Director, Federal Regulatory Strategy in:  </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>1) Identification of key changes to federal energy regulations and policies, energy market rules and related matters; <br>2) Establishment and coordination of Exelon teams that will review such proposed policy changes, develop Exelon�s recommended position, and draft Exelon comments, public testimony and related advocacy;<br>3) Coordination of Exelon�s comments and external messaging with Exelon�s corporate communications and external affairs teams to further Exelon�s goals;<br>4) Management of Exelon�s relationships with industry groups and associations (e. g. , EEI, P3, NEPGA) on energy policy committees and key government career and political personnel; and<br>5) Representing the Federal Regulatory Affairs group on internal organizations. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"> </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"> PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"> </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">1. Identify and track strategically significant emerging energy-related regulatory and policy developments via Federal Register notices, participation in industry association meetings and initiatives and attendance/participation in public stakeholder processes.   Report significant developments throughout Exelon, as appropriate, and track key dates.   Track and maintain information and materials related to initiatives.  <br>2. Support Exelon teams charged with evaluating proposed regulations, policy initiatives and other rule changes and assist in developing Exelon�s position. Coordinate information sharing with Exelon�s public advocacy, legal, markets development, transmission and other teams in developing such positions and advocacy related thereto.   Manage specific teams or issues as identified by the Director, Federal Regulatory Strategy.    <br>3. Assist in the management of energy regulatory issues reviewed by Exelon�s industry groups (e. g. , EEI, P3, NEPGA) to ensure that Exelon�s positions are considered and incorporated into industry group comments and initiatives.   Represent Exelon on specific industry group committees, initiatives and/or specific rulemaking comment initiatives.   <br>4. Assist in the development of relationships with agency staff, state regulators (in the context of federal regulations and/or regional initiatives), NGOs, and industry groups to support advancement of Exelon�s positions.   <br>5. Represent Federal Regulatory Affairs on internal organizations such as by developing briefings for other team members and Exelon executives.   <br>6. Perform special project work in support of the Vice President, Competitive Market Policy and the Director, Federal Regulatory Strategy.   <br> </p>
