Energize your career at Exelon!<br><br>PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION<br><br>Management responsibility for the design, testing, implementation, documentation and on-going performance of daily operational and financial processes required for the Company to purchase power in the PJM marketplace and deliver energy to retail customers under a restructured retail environment.   Support other Senior Analysts in Department with day-to-day responsibilities and other Company organizations with strategic initiatives such as the design and implementation of new procurement methodologies. <br><br>Note: Position may be required to work extended hours including 24x7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. <br><br> PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES<br><br>- Management responsibility for the detailed design, testing, implementation, on-going performance and documentation of the business processes to ensure BGE's Choice Program is compliant with BGE's Tariffs and COMAR.   Ongoing responsibility for performing daily processes. <br><br>- Responsible for the detailed design, testing, implementation, on-going performance and documentation of the business processes to ensure BGE has appropriate retail supplier collateral.   Ongoing responsibility for performing processes. <br><br>- Responsible for the design, implementation, on-going performance and documentation of the business processes for verifying generation retail supplier PJM contracts are current at all times. Ongoing responsibility for performing daily processes. <br><br>POSITION SPECIFICATIONS<br><br>Minimum: <br><br>- Bachelors degree in engineering, finance or related field and minimum 5 - 8 years of experience or in lieu of bachelors degree, a minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience. <br><br>- Knowledge of Customer Care & Billing System (CC&B)</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"> </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">- Understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"> </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">- Basic understanding of Regulatory paradigm/environment in which BGE operates. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"> </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">- Familiarity with wholesale marketplace, OATTs and PJM business rules<br><br>- Familiarity with restructured retail marketplace and ComEd retail tariffs<br><br>- Strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communications skills<br><br>- Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>Preferred: <br><br>- Pursuit or completion of MBA<br><br>- Utility industry experience. <br></p>
