Energize your career at Exelon!<div><br></div><div>Exelon is looking for a Senior Emergency Preparedness Specialist at our Nuclear Midwest Headquarters in Warrenville, IL (Western suburbs of Chicago, IL)<br><br>PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION <br><br>Provides fleet wide leadership and management of EP functions, programs and processes in their functional area.
Performs advanced program development, maintenance, and planning in support of the Emergency Preparedness Program.
Is responsible for technical-decision making and problem solving related to emergency preparedness and response.
Possess excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES<br><br> - Provides leadership and in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement emergency preparedness activities and programs.
<br><br> - Support EP Administration and Maintenance activities through coordination of EP activities, coordination and support of EP self-assessments/audits/inspections, maintenance of the E - Plan/station annexes/EP procedures/equipment, off-site interfaces, EP training and other associated activities.
<br><br> - Provides leadership and technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve emergency response program issues.
<br><br> - Support the drill and exercise program through support of scheduling, scenario development, evaluation, report generation and disposition of findings.
<br><br><br><br>POSITION SPECIFICATIONS<br><br>Minimum: <br><br> - Bachelors degree and 6 years industry experience<br><br> or <br><br> - Applicable Professional certification <br>(i.
