Energize your career at Exelon!<br><br>PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION <br>Support Senior Manager, Communications (E5) by developing, drafting and executing ComEd communications plans based on assigned Operating Company or Business Unit. Coordinate execution and management of internal communications, employee engagement and change management to support all aspects of ComEd's location, operating group, business unit and corporate communications. Coordinate with external communications counterparts to time appropriate employee communications with external messaging opportunities. Manage assigned communications projects and monitor issues within the respective area. Plan and execute employee events in support of overall corporate goals. Serve as video production lead and coordinate activities with corporate creative services team for internal or external communications use. Manage communications resources (Audio/Visual) as required in support of the Senior Manager, Communications (E5). <br><br> PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES <br>1 Develop, manage, and execute strategic communications plans that promote employee engagement and support business objectives. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">2 Implement and manage creative communication vehicles and approaches in support of strategic vision developed by Vice President of Communications. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">3 Support Senior Manager of Communications (E5) by advising and counseling executives on internal communications issues and activities. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">4 Coordinate third-party vendor relationships to produce employee communications (e. g. event management, developing digital communication products, video production and invoicing etc. ) and participate in career development and business planning. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">5 Manage and develop compelling content for various print and digital communications channels </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">6 Manage and support crisis communication functions: includes on-call 24/7 rotation, acting as a company spokesperson, planning and implementing press events and preparing press materials. <br><br>POSITION SPECIFICATIONS <br>Minimum: <br>� Bachelor�s degree, a minimum of 5 to 7 years� experience in communications, journalism or a related field; strong presentation skills; self-motivation; organizational sensitivity; excellent follow through capability. � Excellent writing and editing skills </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">� Demonstrated ability of developing and deploying change management plans </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">� Video production skills </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">� Strategic thinking ability </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">� Proven relationship-building skills at all levels within an organization, including executive staff </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">� Social media experience </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">� Demands high level of performance from self and others </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">� Demonstrated project management experience </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">� A high-level of self-motivation and independence will be critical <br>Preferred: </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">� Master�s degree in communications, journalism or related discipline. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">� Knowledge of video production best practices and editing software tools, such as Avid and Final Cut Pro to oversee the production and editing process. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">� Familiarity with content management systems </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">� Familiarity with print and digital design concepts and tools, such as InDesign and Photoshop</p>
