Energize your career at Exelon!<br><br>PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION<br><br>Across the Company, provide expertise on development of and adherence to NERC and Regional Reliability Organization electric reliability standards.
Develop and maintain relationships with regional transmission organizations, regional and national electricity reliability organizations, and other industry stakeholders.
Conduct analysis and develop to represent the Company in regulatory proceedings.
#CD# Facilitate internal issues management processes to obtain stakeholder involvement and ensure organizational alignment on issues and participate in the development of Company positions on electric reliability standards.
Provide oversight of the Exelon Business Units to determine their adherence to the Exelon NERC Reliability Standards Compliance Program as well as to the NERC and Regional Reliability Organizations Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Plan.
Represent Company on NERC, Regional Reliability Organization and industry committees and taskforces.
<br>Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy<br><br>
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES<br><br>Accountability<br><br>- Implement or support NERC and Regional Reliability Organization committee interface and issues management.
#CD# Communicate industry issues of importance as well as updated expectations to the Exelon Business Units.
#CD# 25<br><br>- Develop and maintain reliability standards tracking databases and facilitate reviews of draft electric reliability standards and NERC Alerts.
#CD# Develop comments among the Exelon Business Units.
#CD# 20<br><br>- Provide oversight of the Exelon Business Units to determine their adherence to the Exelon NERC Reliability Standards Compliance Program as well as to the NERC and Regional Reliability Organizations Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Plan.
#CD# Perform internal audits and analysis to determine the effectiveness of reliability standards adherence and compliance practices.
#CD# Assist the Exelon Business Units with preparation for external audits from NERC and the Regional Reliability Organization.
#CD# 40<br><br>- Represent Company on NERC and RRO committees and build external industry contacts to facilitate benchmarking and continuous improvement.
#CD# 15<br><br>POSITION SPECIFICATIONS<br><br>Minimum: <br><br>- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field and 8-10 years experience working in any combination of electric utility rates, regulatory, legal, transmission planning, operations or financial disciplines OR in lieu of Bachelors degree, a minimum of 12-14 years of relevant experience is required.
<br><br>- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills<br><br>- Proven ability to perform in a high performance culture<br><br>- Demonstrated ability to build consensus and establish trust<br><br>- Demonstrated business acumen and an ability to work through ambiguity<br><br>- Demonstrated ability to creatively solve complex problems<br>Preferred: <br><br>- Masters Degree in Engineering, MBA or Law Degree<br><br>- Knowledge of FERC and NERC regulations and relevant statutory provisions<br><br>- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of NERC and Regional Reliability Organization policies, organization and procedures<br><br>- Knowledge of NERC and other reliability organizations<br><br>- Management or other team-lead experience<br>|
