Energize your career at Exelon!<br><br>PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION <br></p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;">Manage the development, delivery and administration of an energy efficiency portfolio, approved by various federal state, and municipal agencies, to ensure cost recovery and minimize performance risk. Work closely with other Exelon departments and hired consultants in such areas as Rates, Marketing, Market Research, Planning, and Program Evaluation; to design a portfolio that ensures seamless development, implementation and evaluation of programs. Oversee controls and quality assurance efforts to verify that products, services, or energy savings are delivered as required. Drive process improvement efforts for all programs. Coordinate with the various regulatory agencies and manage this complex program sharing relationship on an ongoing basis. </p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;"> </p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;">Develop and maintain an environment that promotes diversity, accountability and fosters teamwork. Establish, promote and maintain a safe work environment. </p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;"> </p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;">Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br> PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES <br><br>- Participate in all aspects of the portfolio development including evaluation of energy efficiency measures, design of programs design, assembly of portfolio, outreach to stakeholders, and filing of requirements. Work with Marketing, Evaluation, and other teams to design a portfolio that maximizes performance and minimizes risk. </p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;"> </p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;">- Lead implementation function for all energy efficiency programs (commercial, industrial and<span style="">        </span></p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;">residential). This includes issuing RFP's, awarding contracts, obtaining legal review, tracking cost recovery and directing managers (C&I and Residential Managers) that oversee individual program managers within the portfolio. </p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;"> </p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;">- Maintain ongoing relationship with identified stakeholders and regulatory agencies to limit regulatory risks<span style="">           </span></p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;"> </p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;">- Ensure that Accounts Payable (invoice review, verification and check creation) and Accounts Receivable functions (audit billing) are managed according to applicable Corp. Drive continuous improvement in quality and productivity of employees through the Performance Management Process. <span style="">  </span>Counsel, develop, direct, evaluate and instruct employees. <span style="">        </span></p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;"> </p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;">- Oversee staffing levels including contract resources to ensure achievement of established goals and</p><br><p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;">to maintain optimal staffing levels<span style="">            </span></p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br><br>POSITION SPECIFICATIONS <br>Minimum: <br>Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other relevant discipline <br><br>Ten or more years energy conservation / energy efficiency work experience <br><br>Strong leadership and negotiation skills <br><br>Strong interpersonal skills and previous experience and relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators among various governmental agencies<br><br>Thorough understanding of the regulatory oversight and prudency requirements guiding the department's work <br><br>Demonstrated understanding of the Company's objectives and standards relating to customer relationships <br><br>Demonstrated ability to work within established budgets and deliver promised results <br><br>Thorough understanding of deferred accounting in the utility environment <br><br>Ability to communicate with and direct a wide variety of professionals ranging from technical engineers to clerical support staff is required <br><br>Preferred: <br>Graduate degree in business, engineering, or other relevant discipline <br><br>Contract management experience<br></p>
