Energize your career at Exelon!</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"> </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>The Strategic Partnering Program (SPP) is a critical component in achieving Exelon IT�s operational strategies and financial goals. It is a shift toward industry leading best practice in the management of IT service providers, alignment to business focused outcomes and cost optimized service delivery. Management and oversight of this program is conducted by the Strategic Vendor Management Office (SVMO). </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>The Manager has the unique opportunity to work with a diverse team of internal and external organizations. The Manager provides valuable input to the design and implementation of foundational processes. The role allows the individual to be a force for change in how Exelon IT operates as part of the Office of the CIO. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>The Manager is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and reporting on the overall performance and relationship status of the services by the Partner.   The Manager is a subject matter expert in the analysis of performance and relationship measures of the ecosystem to enable senior leadership to understand process performance, report progress against targets (SLAs to be developed and negotiated), and proactively manage goal delivery in alignment with the performance expectations of the organization. The Manager develops and utilizes operational performance and relationship data to characterize opportunities for improvement and works in partnership with senior leaders and operational groups to drive process optimization and efficiency. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>The Manager counsels and advises Exelon on contractual, performance and relationship aspects associated with operational services delivered by the Partner. The Manager works closely with internal and external organizations to assure that the contract is being correctly executed as part of the governance process.   The Manager provides leadership to develop, standardize, and implement process related to the partnership.   The Manager is the single point of contact to escalate issues related to the contract and their resolution and interfaces with Senior Leadership to communicate health of partnership and improvement opportunities within relationship. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"> </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"> PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>Contract Compliance � Records, monitors, reviews and reports on Oracle�s and Exelon�s compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Ensure that the delivered services meet operational needs of the business and that quality, client satisfaction and productivity measurements are tracked and reviewed with the appropriate Exelon and Strategic Partner personnel. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>Issue Management � Captures and facilitates the resolution of issues in a consistent, structured and timely manner. Ensure that the appropriate escalation processes are in place to resolve service/policy issues. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>Innovation � Manages relationship with Oracle and Exelon executives to effectively leverage Oracle�s capabilities to meet Exelon�s strategic objectives; ensures Oracle performance continuously improves throughout the term of the services and across all Exelon business units. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>Market Assessment � Qualifies leading market services and practices to meet Exelon business objectives; Obtains current information on industry practices, market intelligence and Oracle�s SWOT. Establishes and manages benchmark activities to monitor performance against industry standards. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>Governance Framework � Coordinates the structures performance reviews, issue resolutions, value assurances, and goal attainments of the Oracle relationship. Provides leadership and guidance within the governance process. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>Change Management � Create and maintain a management environment that understands and embraces changes that will occur over time in the services, relationship and strategy. Implement and ensure alignment with IT�s overall business strategy. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>Industry Knowledge � Maintains broad knowledge of industry and IT trends including changes in the marketplace. Applies knowledge in support of IT strategic initiatives and ensures active participation in industry and business forums. Maintains understanding of key Exelon business unit processes, systems, and initiatives. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>Oversight � Provide direction, governance, and oversight in relation to key Vendor agreement and be a liaison for Exelon with the strategic vendor.   </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>Process Improvement � Develop and implement process improvements related to contract and vendor partnership. Collaborate with project teams on vendor opportunities and review existing processes to identify enhancements to incorporate into strategic direction. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>Communication � Communicate, resolve, and/or escalate partnership issues. Collaboration directly with Partner on status, information, and steps to resolve while collaborating with Exelon Teams as required. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>Reporting � Document and communicate progress of relationship for Senior Leadership. Monitor, grow and communicate the effectiveness of license management usage. Collaborating with Vendor, IT Leadership, Supply, and Finance to effectively determine the continued value of the partnership. <br></p>
