Energize your career at Exelon!</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"> </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION<br>Assists the Assistant attorneys and paralegals through the performance of complex secretarial and clerical duties requiring knowledge of legal terminology and the legal process.
Under general direction, performs responsible, specialized and confidential legal assignments and research for specified area within the Law Department.
Works closely with clients and with other legal and governmental agencies.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES <br>1.
Prepares draft legal documents for attorney review and filing with court, state or federal agencies <br>2.
Responsible for scheduling and calendaring, travel arrangements, entry of daily timesheet detail into dept.
matter management system, and handling of outside counsel billing issues <br>3.
Organizes and maintains information, facts, records and other documents as needed to support legal actions <br>4.
Develops and maintains a knowledge of statutes, court decisions and customs relating to procedures and practices in appropriate areas of law <br>5.
Develops and maintains a working relationship with clients both inside and outside the firm to obtain and clarify information needed to substantiate facts, identify, document and otherwise support legal actions <br>6.
Prioritizes work from multiple sources, meets deadlines and deals professionally with clients <br> </p>|
