Energize your career at Exelon!<div><br></div><div>Exelon is looking for a Lead Project Management Scheduler at our Nuclear Midwest Headquarters in Warrenville, IL<br><br>PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION<br><br>The Lead Project Management Scheduler will perform the project scheduling for the corporate and/or site project management organization, performing all the duties of a Sr. Project Scheduler. <div><br></div><div>The Lead PM scheduler will serve as the Department's subject matter expert on scheduling via establishing fleet scheduling standards, and developing, maintaining, and enhancing the fleet master project scheduling templates and standardized reports. In addition, the Lead Project Management Scheduler will manage multiple fleet Senior Project Management Schedulers and Project Management Schedulers (east or west, as appropriate). The Lead Project Management will facilitate development, leading and/or oversee scheduling training opportunities for schedulers and project managers. This resource will also be responsible for communicating scheduling issues on high-risk projects to Senior Leadership. <br><br>The Lead Project Management Scheduler will be the database administrator for the fleet project management organization. <br><br> PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES<br><br>--Coordinate, develop and update project schedules for use in project planning, resource loading and allocation, budget development, and schedule execution for all phases of project execution for Corporate Projects. Utilize and modify pre-established templates to build project schedules. <br><br>--Manage multiple Senior Management Schedulers and Project Management Schedulers. #CD# Ensure scheduling processes are consistent across the Department. Ensure consistency in database structure. <br><br>--Prepare and analyze detailed project schedule reports to ensure effective project execution and feedback. Coordinate with project team members directly to update schedule status for assigned activities. <br><br>--Lead project scheduling meetings to collect current schedule information, provide current schedule status, develop schedule mitigation strategies and provide look-ahead updates to project teams. <br><br>--Identify project schedule risks and discrepancies on high risk projects and ensure effective and timely communication of these to senior leadership. <br><br>--Using lessons learned from assessments and other feedback mechanisms, determine ongoing training needs for the fleet Project Management organization. Developing and lead the training sessions. Perform the governance and oversight of the scheduling function which includes establishing fleet scheduling standards, and maintaining and enhancing the fleet master project scheduling templates. <br><br>--Determine strategic plan and direction for future scheduling software tool (P6) upgrades. Establish and manage training plan(s) for future scheduling software upgrades. <br><br>--Other assignments as directed by management, such as outage schedule challenges, day to day scheduling and the performance of self-assessments to support continuous learnings of the organization. <br><br>POSITION SPECIFICATIONS<br><br>Minimum: <br><br>--Bachelor degree in a technical or business field with 15 years of discipline-specific experience OR<br><br>--High School Diploma with Equivalent 20 years of discipline-specific experience<br><br>--Extensive experience in scheduling of complex projects<br><br>--Expert knowledge in use of Scheduling Tools, including Primavera P3, P6 version 8. x or higher<br><br>--Expert knowledge of Critical Path Scheduling Methods<br><br>--Training and Management experience<br><br>Preferred: <br><br>--Nuclear Power experience<br><br>--PIMS/Passport experience</div><div><br>--Project Management experience<br><br>--Project Controls experience<br></div></div><div><br></div><div>IND-1</div>
