Energize your career at Exelon!<br><br>PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION <br>Leads, manages, and provides support and oversight to case managers for ComEd/Peco sites including monitoring of overall budget.
Reports to Manager of Occupational Health Services- Case Management.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES <br>- Leads, plans and coordinates overall Peco site nursing function including evaluation of clinical activities in case management, regulatory medical testing, and occupational health programs.
Leads efforts regarding nursing staff performance, training, and hiring.
Supervises all Regulatory Medical Activities for PECO, Power, and East BSC.
<br>- Plans, schedules and provides medical testing and examinations including all appropriate resources, evaluates, records and communicates test results to meet regulation and policy requirements.
<br>- Maintains confidential employee medical records, worker's compensation reports, activity and cost tracking reports using manual and computer based techniques.
<br>- Analyzes data, identifies trends and develops programs to implement preventative and corrective measures addressing wellness and medical/work safety issues.
<br>- Coordinates and communicates return to work transition plans with the case manager, and site and business unit personnel for occupational and non-occupational lost time and lost productivity issues.
Performs hands on work related illness and injury examinations for PECO, Power, BSC East.
Supervises all clinical work related injury treatment and case management <br><br>POSITION SPECIFICATIONS <br>Minimum: <br>- Nurse Practitioner.
<br>-6 to 10 years Occupational Health Nursing depending on work history.
<br>- Extensive knowledge of the provision of case management for workers compensation, disability, limited duty, safety, industrial hygiene, healthcare plans, regulatory medical requirements, external healthcare resources and regulation interpretation.
<br>- Physical assessment skills and knowledge and experience in evaluation of medical screening test data.
