Energize your career at Exelon!</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"> </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;">PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>The Lead Analyst, IT Disaster Recovery assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and programs across Exelon�s Operating Companies in accordance with the IT Management Model Documents to ensure the availability of IT resources in the event of a disaster and helps provide and coordinate disaster preparedness training with respect to Exelon�s information technology, helping ensure business continuity.   Creates and assigns detailed tasks to subordinates. Has budget responsibility for a small project, sub-project or process component. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"> </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"> PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>- Working with IT Infrastructure and Business Continuity management teams to ensure that the IT Disaster Recovery (DR Plans) and business continuity plans (BCP) work in harmony to drive disaster recovery strategy and procedures</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>- Providing guidance and DR Plan development support to the IT application owners across the various operating companies</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>- Ensuring compliance of all IT supported applications with the IT Management Model Documents and facilitating DR Plan testing and maintenance cycles across the operating companies with key application and plan owner resources </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>- Evaluating the current DR plans, testing strategy and environment to identify gaps and provide recommendations for improving the overall health of the DR Program capabilities by working with the IT technical staff to ensure that disaster recovery solutions are adequate, in place, maintained and tested as part of the regular operational life cycle and data records in the portfolio management tool are maintained. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>- Working with the IT technical staff to identify and secure back-up systems and written policies and procedures, leveraging the latest trends in technology </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>- Managing, scheduling and leading the annual Mainframe and Open Systems DR failover exercises, including coordinating with technology vendors and internal teams, developing the recovery procedure runbook based on available DR Plans, reporting on results and tracking the completion of post-exercise lessons learned. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>- Assisting IT Application owners across the various operating companies as needed to plan, execute, and document their DR tests, results, and plan updates in accordance with the IT DR Management Model Documents. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>- Providing ongoing feedback for risk management, mitigation, and prevention</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>- Conducting compliance, gap and data analysis to monitor overall IT DR Program posture and health, which will feed into a monthly report on Disaster Recovery activities to IT and Security management</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>- Acting as a liaison for auditing and examination of disaster recovery processes</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>- Helping to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>- Interacting and coordinating efforts with Incident/Problem Management, Change Management, Asset and Configuration Management as needed to facilitate your IT DR Team responsibilities</p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br>- Establish positive team environment by proactively assisting and training less experienced personnel.
