Energize your career at Exelon!<br><br> PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES<br><br>- Reviews and processes all BGE Extension Relocation Contracts (ERC) for completeness and billing information in connection with customer requested services, such as gas, electric or outdoor lighting. ?<br><br>- Receives customer payment and updates payment information in WMS. ?<br><br>- Reconciles billing errors and takes appropriate action to correct including manual billing when necessary. ?<br><br>- Manages the certificate process to include assurance of timely and accurate receipt of data from various municipalities through various mediums <br>(i. e. RightFax, email, U. S. mail) to ensure information is correctly applied to existing jobs or is posted to system and issues are resolved. ?<br><br>- Reviews and monitors permits to ensure they are received and not nearing expiration to facilitate prompt field construction as required. ?<br><br>- Applies for permit extensions or reapplications through various municipalities as needed. ?<br><br>- Manages the overall? joint trench billing process and external website ensuring accuracy of billing, credit and transfer transactions, as well as following? up on past due payments. ?<br><br>- Coordinates joint trench billing disputes with vendors and leadership. ?<br><br>- Acts as liaison between Company and city or county and foreign utilities to handle complaints or requests relating to certificates, permits and joint trench billing. ?<br><br>- Forwards ERC, customer payment and joint trench related data to Finance &#CD# Accounting for further processing. ?<br><br>- Performs training and maintains documentation on processes for certificates, permit applications and ERC for other groups within the Company. <br><br>- Keeps various files and records. ?<br><br>- Prepares statistical summaries and reports of pending and completed work. <br><br>- Answers inquiries concerning standard practices, certificates and permit applications, and billing requirements. ??<br><br>- Retrieves and updates information in company computer systems including WMS, CIS, C - Tes, Pyxis and Business Objects/InfoView. <br><br>- Subject to overtime. <br><br>- May be required to respond to emergency events. <br><br>POSITION SPECIFICATIONS<br><br>Minimum: <br><br>- Working knowledge of standard Company software. <br><br>- General knowledge of job packaging and/or billing processes preferred. <br><br>- Ability to handle high volume work. <br><br>- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. <br><br>- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to details. <br><br>- Four years of clerical experience or equivalent combination of formal education/training and experience. </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"> </p><br><p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;MARGIN-TOP:0px;"><br> </p>
