September 30, 2008 - Blue Bell resident named PECO manager of Gas Acquisition & Planning

PHILADELPHIA (September 30, 2008) – PECO has appointed Carlos P. Thillet as manager of gas acquisition and planning, responsible for buying natural gas supply on the wholesale market for the company’s 485,000 customers in suburban Philadelphia. PECO delivered 78.5 billion cubic feet of gas last year.

A resident of Blue Bell, Thillet represents PECO on the American Gas Associations federal regulatory committee and ensures the company’s compliance with federal regulation that impacts PECO’s gas business. He joined PECO in 1985 as a natural gas mechanic and advanced from a supply analyst to his current role.

Thillet was graduated from Villanova University with a B.S. in Political Science.  He received his M.B.A from St. Joseph’s University.
