A Newly Constructed Townhouse

GLENVIEW TOWNHOUSE
Built in 2001, 3BR 2.5BA
IMPROVEMENTS MADE:

This two-story, brick veneer townhouse is home to the Present family of Glenview. An end unit, the townhouse shares a wall with another unit to the south while the north side is exposed. There is an attached garage with an attic on the west side of the house, and a basement, most of which is finished. When it was built in 2001, the townhouse qualified as an ENERGY STAR® home, which means it was more energy efficient than a typical home. But ComEd's energy efficiency audit identified several areas where efficiency could be improved. By making these improvements, ComEd was able to increase the energy efficiency of the home and help the homeowner manager her energy costs.
